This Cookie Policy explains how artechgarage.com uses browser storage. We keep this short and plain because the site uses very little.

1. Essential storage

These items are required for the site to work and to remember your preferences. They are not used for tracking or advertising.

  • localStorage key "atg-lang" — remembers whether you prefer the site in English or Spanish. This value stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
  • Essential session data set by our hosting platform (Vercel) for security and basic site operation.

2. Analytics cookies

We use two analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or selling your data. See section 4 of the Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.

  • Google Analytics 4 (G-TFL96NM1WG) — sets cookies starting with "_ga" to measure aggregate traffic. Configured with IP anonymization and ad personalization off.
  • Microsoft Clarity (wtrhcy1pz1) — sets cookies (such as "_clck" and "_clsk") to record anonymized session replays and heatmaps with strict input masking enabled.

You can opt out at any time by using a tracker-blocking extension, enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser, or installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

3. How to clear or block storage

You can clear localStorage at any time from your browser settings:

  • Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → "Cookies and other site data".
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data.
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.

You can also use your browser's private / incognito mode, which does not save localStorage between sessions.

4. Changes

If we add tracking technologies in the future, we will update this page and the "Effective" date at the top.
